I know she may look a bit crazed and dazed in this here photo, but really she's not. She is the sweetest of all the girls...and she is Charlotte.
She follows Brynn and I around and loves to sit on our laps. I thought it was her that was laying the very first egss, but last week-end I discovered it was Margaret Anne.
and Margaret Anne sure likes to make it difficult for me to get her eggs. She has been laying them in the way far corner of the coop, where I cannot reach without fully getting up into the loft! and I know she laughs when she sees me crawl up in there!
tonight I blocked it up by putting a toad house in there! She won't be able to get comfy now back in that corner. and it wasn't just her nesting back there, cuz tonight I had 4 eggs! I sure hope this will work and that we haven't started a real bad habit!

keeping hubby so very busy. He has even hired out some help just to keep up.
All the fall colors are so beautiful right now, we will be heading out to the Pumpkin Patch this week-end and also a horse ranch!
